The NUNSA National President– Comr Khadija motunrayo Musa, alongside the NUNSA National Senate President– Rt. Hon Samuel Ayam and the NUNSA National Director of Socials– Comr. Alfred Victoria Oluwadamilola , made a familiarization visit to the Office of the Registrar of the Nursing and Midwifery council of Nigeria (NMCN) in Abuja on the 27th of September 2021.
During this meeting, some important issues concerning the welfare & academic activities of Nunsites were discussed, some of which include:
1. Progress on internship placement.
2. Student information management system for undergraduates to ease communication between NMCN and Students Nurses to be developed soon.
3. Corrections of data after registration to permit Students change their names to enable consistency.
4. The stipulated amount for each council exams should be as follows:
Basic Nursing – N52,460.36
Post Basic Nursing Specialties – N55,470.27
Please note that Consultancy fees charges are included.
Any institution charging more than the stated amount in the name of Council Registration should be reported to the NUNSA NATIONAL EXECUTIVE.
Finally the NUNSA National President & her EXCOS are using this medium to reaffirm their commitment towards ensuring the welfare and betterment of NUNSA and NUNSITES.
