The NUNSA National President; Comr. Khadija Motunrayo Musa and the entire NUNSA Body is saddened by the recent massacre at the St Francis Catholic Church, located in Owo on the 5th of June, 2022.

The Unfortunate killings claimed the lives of over 50 innocent worshippers during the mass service, with several others injured. This bloody massacre has left the loved ones & all citizens of Nigeria in a feeling of great sorrow.

We condone with all family and friends of the departed. We pray the Almighty God lifts the veil of loss and fills their hearts with peace. This is beyond sad and unacceptable, and the perpetrators must pay for their crimes.

The NUNSA National Body condemns the act of violence and also mourns in this dark time. We urge the authorities to investigate this unfortunate incident & the evil perpetrators are brought to justice.

NUNSA National Body is against all acts of violence; especially directed at innocent lives of citizens.
