‎In a strategic move to align healthcare leadership with global development goals, the Nigerian Universities Nursing Students’ Association (NUNSA) National unveiled the proposal of the  NUNSA-SDG Champions Initiative Program, a visionary project aimed at training and certifying student nurses as SDGs Advocates.

‎This initiative aims at empowering NUNSAITES nationwide with the knowledge and tools to drive change in health, education, climate action, and social equity within their communities.

‎The proposal was well-received by the National Deputy Coordinator of the SDGs NSC, who applauded the youth-driven vision and reaffirmed support for its implementation. In recognition of this effort, the NUNSA National President was appointed as the official Representative of Nigerian Nursing Students in the SDGs National Students Council Network.

‎Together, we can advance youth inclusion, health-centered development, and a sustainable future, leaving no nursing student behind.
